Account Verification - What is Source of Wealth (SOW)?

As we take a risk based approach to AML/TF policies, it may be necessary to request Source of Wealth documentation.

This information assists us in determining a player's source of funds, which is sometimes necessary to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing. These requests are relatively standard, and do not mean that we are suspecting you of nefarious activity. These requests allow us to be compliant in our efforts to prevent illicit activity, and to assist our efforts to promote responsible gaming.

Examples of SOW include:
  1. Inheritance
  2. Investments
  3. Business Ownership
  4. Employment
We will only ask for documents specific to your purchases and play. We accept the following:
  1. Paystubs no older than 90 days
  2. Signed letter from your employer, on company letterhead, confirming salary and employment dates
  3. A bank statement displaying your last three salary deposits
  4. Investment statements
  5. A copy of your self-employed accounts showing your salary and confirming details
  6. A latter from your attorney handling the sale of property or business
  7. Other clear evidence of your winnings from poker, gaming or lottery.
