Betting in poker involves decisions made both pre-flop and post-flop. Your Gameplay Settings allow you to customize default bet amounts for quicker play.
The Bet Presets section defines your quick-select bet sizes, which are categorized by the stage of the hand. You can change each of the first 3 presets to specific ranges where you are comfortable betting if the default ranges have you utilizing the bet slider instead.
These settings define your default raising size.
Presets: You have four quick-select options, typically 2.0x, 3.0x, 4.0x, and ALL-IN.
Multiplier/Percentage: The default setting is Multiplier (as seen in the screenshot), meaning the bet size is a multiple of the preceding bet (which is usually the Big Blind, or the largest bet made so far). For example, a 3.0x pre-flop bet would be three times the size of the Big Blind. You can switch this to Percentage, which will make the bet size a percentage of the total pot.
These settings define your default continuation bet (c-bet) or value bet sizes.
Presets: You have four quick-select options, typically 25%, 50%, 75%, and ALL-IN.
Percentage of Pot: Post-flop bets are almost always set as a percentage of the total chips currently in the pot.
For example, if the pot has 100 chips, a 50% bet would be 50 chips. This is a standard measure for sizing bets based on pot odds and strategic considerations.
