How to Enable Location Permissions

Enabling Location Permissions

You need location access enabled to keep your session going! If it’s not set up right, you’ll get kicked out with the following error message:


To prevent this from occurring, first make sure your browser is up-to-date. Then do the following:


iOS users on Safari (ipad/iphone)

  1. Open Settings and tap Apps.
  2. Scroll down and select Safari.
  3. Tap Location, then set access for clubwptgold.com to Allow.
  4. Go back to Settings.
  5. Scroll down and tap Privacy & Security.
  6. Select Location Services and make sure it’s turned On.
  7. Scroll down, tap Safari, and choose While Using the App.
  8. Once location services are enabled, refresh your browser and try logging in again.

Mac OSX users on Safari (Desktop or laptop)

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Navigate to clubwptgold.com.
  3. Navigate to the Safari menu and select Settings.
  4. Select Websites on the top of the window (where all the icons appear).
  5. Select Location (on the left side).
  6. On the right side, the clubwptgold.com website should be listed.
  7. In the dropdown menu, next to the the clubwptgold.com website header, select Allow.

Safari/Firefox

  1. Log in and look for the location permission pop-up.

  2. Click the blue Get Location or Verify Location button.

  3. Check Remember this decision (or equivalent).

  4. Click the Allow button

Chrome/Edge

  1. Log in and look for the location permission pop-up.

  2. Click the blue Verify Location button.

  3. Select Allow while visiting this site.

  4. 🚨IMPORTANT: Don’t choose "Allow this time” or you’ll get logged out later!

Troubleshooting

If you accidentally clicked "Block" or "Don't Allow," or forgot to select “Remember this decision/Allow while visiting this site” (or equivalent), here’s the fix:

Chrome

  1. Click the Site Information icon in the address bar. You’ll find this icon directly to the left of the URL.

  1. Set the Location toggle to ON.

  1. Click on the arrow next to the toggle.

  2. Check Allow on every visit.

  1. Refresh the page.


Firefox

  1. Click the Site Information icon in the address bar. 

  1. Click the X next to "Blocked" in the dropdown menu that appears.

  2. Refresh the page.

  3. Click Allow when prompted (and check Remember this decision).


Safari (macOS)

Browser Settings:

  1. Log out if not already logged out.

  2. Log in again, and the permission pop-up should appear.

  3. Click the blue Get Location or Verify Location button

  4. Check Remember this decision (or equivalent).

  5. Click the Allow button.


Edge

  1. Log out if not already logged out.

  2. Log in again, and the permission pop-up should appear.

  3. Click the blue Verify Location button.

  4. Select Allow while visiting this site (Do not select the “Allow this time” option as this will lead to unexpected logouts during your session!).


Brave

  1. Click the Site Information Icon in the address bar. You’ll find this icon directly to the left of the URL.

  2. Toggle Location ON.

  3. Refresh the page.
