Starting on April 1st 2026, some ClubWPT Gold players will see sales tax added to eligible digital purchases based on their physical location at the time of purchase. The base price for digital purchases and the amount of Hand Analysis you receive for your purchases will not change.
ClubWPT Gold is updating the checkout screen for certain digital purchases to calculate and display sales tax when required. If tax applies, you will see it clearly listed before you complete your purchase.

Sales tax (if applicable) is determined by your physical location at the time of purchase. In the United States, that can include state and local tax rules. In Canada, tax is based on the province where you make the purchase.
If sales tax applies in your location, you'll see it added as a separate line item on the checkout screen. Your base product price is not changing, but your total price will include any applicable sales tax.
If you're in a location where sales tax applies, you'll also see Bonus Chips added as a separate line item.
Yes. Because tax is based on where you are located at the time of purchase, the amount shown may change if you make purchases from different locations.
Subscription renewals use the tax treatment tied to the location of the original subscription purchase. If you made your original subscription purchase from a location where sales tax applies, renewals will use that same tax. If your original subscription purchase was not taxable, renewals will not be subject to tax.
Yes. If sales tax is charged, your transaction history will show the tax you paid. For purchases made from Canada, it may also show the separate tax components when more than one tax applies.
