ClubWPT Gold Opens Its Canadian Beta!

Welcome Canadian Players! You can now enjoy the ClubWPT Gold's ring games, tournaments, and daily freerolls as part of our initial beta launch in Canada.

During this early rollout, we're closely monitoring feedback and performance to deliver the best possible experience. There are a few known issues specific to Canadian players, and we're working diligently to resolve them as quickly as possible.
  1. Interac Purchases on ClubWPT Gold
    1. Please ensure you have verified your email in the "Profile" setting of your page. Not doing so will cause Interac purchases to fail. The email address you use on our site must match the one registered with your Interac account.
    2. Please make sure to enter the payment amount in CAD, not USD. Entering the amount in USD will result in an underpayment and prevent your purchase from being processed successfully.
    3. Please ensure that you enter the special message provided to you when submitting your payment. Not entering the message will prevent your purchase from being processed successfully. 
    4. Due to the nature of Interac purchases, they may take 30 minutes or more to register to your account. If you do not see your Hand Analysis and Chips credited after 30 minutes, your bank may be holding the payment. We recommend contacting your bank first if you encounter this issue. Once your bank approves the transaction, there may still be a delay on their end as they transmit the payment information to us. In some cases, processing may also take longer if your transaction is undergoing a security review by the payment processor.
    5. A maximum transaction limit of CAD 25,000 per user applies to purchases made via Interac within any 24-hour period.
    6. Please note that Interac purchases are not currently available on the Client (i.e. App) version of ClubWPT Gold. See below for details. 
  2. Interac Purchases on the ClubWPT Gold Downloadable Client (i.e. The App)
    1. Currently our downloadable client is not able to accept Interac purchases. You may either:
      1. Make an Interac purchase by doing so directly in the web browser or mobile version of ClubWPT Gold at clubwptgold.com.
      2. Make a credit or debit card purchase directly in the downloadable client.
  3. Chip Exchanges With Interac on ClubWPT Gold
    1. As a Canadian user, you will need to make your exchanges through the Interac service and your bank.
    2. Please ensure that the email address you use on our site matches the email address registered with your Interac account. 
    3. This service requires a secret question/answer. You will be asked to create a secret question and answer when submitting your exchange request. If you do not have auto-deposit enabled, you’ll need this answer to receive your exchange. Please be sure to record it somewhere safe so you don’t forget it.
    4. Please ensure that your secret question does not exceed 40 characters (including spaces) as this will cause your exchange request to fail. 
    5.  When submitting an exchange, you may see an option to use the same card used for your original purchase. Please note that selecting this option will cause your exchange request to be declined. Please ensure you submit your exchange request through the Interac service and your bank.
    6. A maximum transaction limit of CAD 25,000 per user applies to exchanges made via Interac within any 24-hour period.
  4. In Process Interac Exchanges
    1. You can’t start a second exchange until the first one is fully accepted.
    2. If you receive an error saying that you have an exchange in process, please check your email for an Interac message.
