Location Issues

Location Issues

We understand how frustrating technical issues can be, especially when you're eager to enjoy our new Multi-Tabling feature. Our team is here to guide you through resolving this geolocation challenge.

Why Is This Happening?

This issue is likely due to your browser or device location permissions preventing us from accurately detecting your location.

For those using our new Multi-Table App: We are aware of a geolocation issue primarily affecting Windows users near borders or exclusion zones, such as Federal Tribal lands. At this time, there is no immediate solution. If you have successfully logged in using a browser before, we recommend continuing to use the browser until this matter is resolved.

Quick Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Clear Your Browser Cache

2. Enable Location Permissions

Ensure location services are enabled in both your browser and device settings, and confirm that Wi-Fi is turned on.

How to Enable Location Services:

For Browsers:

  • Google Chrome:
    1. Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu (top-right).
    2. Select Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings.
    3. Click Location and toggle on "Sites can ask for your location".
  • Safari (Mac/iOS):
    1. Open System Settings (Ventura 13.3+) or System Preferences (macOS 12 or earlier).
    2. Navigate to Privacy & Security > Location Services.
    3. Toggle on Enable Location Services and set Safari to "While Using the App".
  • Microsoft Edge:
    1. Click the three-dot menu > Settings > Cookies and site permissions.
    2. Click Location and toggle on "Ask before accessing".
  • Mozilla Firefox:
    1. Click the three-line menu > Settings > Privacy & Security.
    2. Scroll down to Permissions and adjust location settings to allow requests.
  • Samsung Internet Browser:
  1. Tap the three-line menu > Settings > Advanced > Toggle on Location.

For Devices:

  • iPhone/iPad:
    1. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.
    2. Toggle on Location Services and set app permissions to "While Using the App".
  • Android:
    1. Open Settings > Location.
    2. Toggle on Use Location and ensure App Access is set to Allowed.
  • Windows Laptops:
    1. Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Location.
    2. Toggle on Allow apps to access your location.
  • Desktop Users:
  • If you receive a geolocation error, click the location icon in your browser’s search field and grant permission.

Additional Notes:

For Desktop Users Near Exclusion Zones:

If you are close to an exclusion zone (e.g., state borders, national borders, or federal tribal lands), geolocation accuracy may be affected. Additionally, StarLink users may experience inconsistent location detection due to IP address assignments. In such cases, switching to another network may improve results.
